Imports

of an international showjumping team based out of Abu Dhabi, equine business development consultant and purchase expert Leslie Goodyear joined forces with professional rider and judge Linda Radigan to purchase and import a small group of investment horses for a brilliant client and friend who was in the early stages of developing an equestrian empire.

With the alchemy and integrity of their combined talents, they discovered and produced champion after champion, connected great riders with world class horses, and and ultimately, returned consistent profits for their client, the now- famous Al Shira'aa Stables.

An everyday tumble and broken ankle forced a shift and refocus for Leslie, and by way of consulting, this team recognized the truly great value in flexing their reputation to expand this highly specialized, unique and consistent system for identifying, purchasing, importing, improving and selling sporthorses.

CV 1

Founder

35 year equine professional specializing in purchasing, management, competitive campaign strategy, new program and farm development, Leslie started her career working with the British and Blanford Bloodstock agencies evaluating 8,000 to 10,000 horses for purchase per year, and preparing marketing yearlings in France, Great Britain and Kentucky.  The horses she has prepped and sold have been European sales record yearlings, including a Sadler's Wells yearling she presented at the Arqana sales in Deauville whose record price stood for 24 years.  After stepping away to follow her other passion in film and television, Leslie was enticed back into the equine world by a deeply respected visionary client, to assist with family stables and the formation of the now-legendary Al Shira'aa Stables in Abu Dhabi.  Along the course of that incredibly humbling project, Leslie crossed paths with professional rider and trainer Linda Radigan and found alchemy in their equine talents.
When not buying and selling horses, Leslie resides in Jackson Hole with her hunky husband, Andalusian and Friesian stallions, an array of dogs, falcons and a flyrod or two. She runs a digital marketing agency, is a terrible guitar player, and still writes pretty good books and screenplays.

Linda Radigan

Partner

Horses have been the focus of Linda's life from the age of 4.  She owns and operates River Bend Jumpers with locations in both Cleveland, OH and Ocala, FL.

An Ohio Wesleyan University 2002 graduate with a degree in Economics Management. Linda returned to the horse industry focused on training and competing with some of the best in the business. From them she learned how to be a true horseman, a successful competitor, a teacher and a successful salesman. She and her horses won just about everything there was to win in the amateur ranks and in 2012 she declared her professional status and launched River Bend Jumpers, a full training and sales barn. She specializes in scouting out talented horses, developing them in the show ring and selling them to customers. She has trained horses to national championships, grand prix victories and hunter derby wins. Her customer base has grown each year and with repeat clients.she has had training horse and sales from clients all over the US, Canada, and even as far as the middle east.

There is nothing she loves more than discovering a raw talented horse and producing it into a superstar. She operates her sales operation as a boutique style shop - where there is always something unique and special. She found her current “flagship” horse in the Czech Republic as a 5 year old. She has spent the last few years developing him and he is now successfully competing in the Grand Prix ranks.

In addition to the sales side of the business, she teaches a variety of riders and clinics and is also a United States Equestrian Federation “r” rated judge.
